Flying Cub & Super Cub taildraggers is an adventure that began in early childhood with my first ride in my grandfather’s J-3 from a short little grass strip. Growing up next to his aircraft restoration shop turned into a pilot’s license by age 17 and more than a decade later, the real adventures began when I flew my PA-11 to begin a new chapter of flying in the Rockies. Eventually the plane ended up in Germany, Portugal, the Pyrenees, the Alps, and now with a Super Cub in the fleet, Scandinavia and other European destinations. In 2021, I started the Global Glacier Initiative, with a goal to photograph every non-polar glacier on earth.
